Programs
Below is a list of our projects and programs we'll offer to our community
Helping inner-city youths and adults to become productive members of society by teaching them life skills for self-sufficiency. The program will be made up of paid experts in the field and volunteers who are passionate about improving the lives of people in underserved communities.
- Homework assistance and after school program - tutoring, mentoring and basic computer skills
- Adult Literacy - GED preparation by assisting students with the subject matter in the GED exam
- Teen programs - open microphone-poetry/monologue, teen art exhibition, teen choir, teen mentorship/counseling
- Vacation Bible School (VBS) - This part of the program teaches children about God through music, skits, Bible storytelling, videos, science experiments and games.
- Food Programs - meals for children in the summer, meals for the homeless
- Homeownership Education - teach basic preparation for home buying, including credit and budgeting
- Financial and Estate Planning - teach the basics of having an emergency fund, life insurance and wills
